Kirk Ryan, DVM
Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine
Dr. Ryan is a board-certified expert and diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal
Medicine. He obtained his veterinary degree from Colorado State University and completed residency
training at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. He comes to CAVS with over 25 years of veterinary
experience including 6 years in veterinary practice and 17 years as a clinical expert and faculty member
at Louisiana State University. Dr. Ryan is a past-president of the Louisiana Veterinary Medical
Association and the Southwest Veterinary Symposium. He offers advanced diagnostics and provides
experienced treatment for dogs and cats with a variety of medical problems. Advanced diagnostics
include abdominal ultrasound and endoscopic procedures of the gastrointestinal, respiratory, and
urinary systems.
